if you don't have much gold then Arena is the most efficient way to get cards and more gold, but since you're new you might be playing at a loss if you're bad at Arena

The hearthstone meta has stagnated in every version to the point where the best play for almost every turn becomes obvious. The major reasons for winning are based on match ups more than any sort of skill, and RNG has determined a ridiculous amount of games compared to non-obvious, clever plays. There is a reason why they have nerfed cards like Sylvanas and Knife Juggler.

Also check out a guy on YouTube/Twitch named Trump, specifically his Trump Teachings series. He does a really good job of teaching the basic mechanics of this game, i.e., tempo, card advantage, and board control. He's also got some interactive videos to help you get good at Arena drafting.

Difference is that Councilman has 5 health. I play Zoo Warlock and have no trouble getting him to at least Yeti stars every time. If you're playing him on an empty board, you're an idiot.
