Everything about her movement and look is great.
The enemy is cool, but that liquid effect looks bad, specially the white attack particles but i cant really blame the game since i have yet to see a game that does a liquid 3d enemy well.
The enemy death is lacking something on impact, either is a good death audio or it could be a little more flashy.
The background is great, hope every area looks good as this.
Cautiously optimistic overall, everything i've seen so far gives me hope that this will be great.

I know, but the enemy model seems finished and i wouldnt doubt that would go into the final game, specially since no one in this thread really mentioned my issues with the effect.
The death thing i said it will clearly still be finished since it has no sound so i am not worried about that at all.
The game looks solid, my biggest worries is quantity stuff, like being too short, lacking enemy variety and weapon variety for money or time related issues.

That design has way too much going on in it that just doesn't make sense. Like her dress itself would make sense as a low-cut dress, but it's not at all connected to that shit she put on above her that's got a collar and one massive thick flap hanging over a single tit, and only one sleeve for some reason but doesn't connect to the other sleeve which is put on separately as well.
Like fuck, man, that is trying way too hard for asymmetry. And none of it's even in the face, which has to have two-tone hair, two bangs crossing in the forehead equally covering things in the same shape, and hairband that borders on floating around the outside of her hair with jewels hanging right next to her eyes. And even the stained glass stuff has no texture to it outside of the back, so it just looks like tattoos.

It'll be the same as always, long hallways with ten of the same enemy type and a platform hovering in the middle across the entire thing because maybe the enemies on the top or bottom can hit the platform above/below them with one of their attacks. After you reach the end of the hallway, you'll jump onto ramps that are just jutting out of the side of walls with an enemy at the top of them, and then you'll enter the next hallway a floor up and go left across it instead of right.
Combat will be exclusively based around landing/backdash canceling your normal attacks into more normal attacks.

All of the updates look great so far. I just hope the level design and difficulty are up to snuff. In Iga's other games the level design was lacking, although this was possibly due to the tiny budgets he was given and shirt development cycles. His games were also fairly easy. My favorite Metroidvania is Circle of the Moon, and I'd love to have a difficulty level comparable to that. Harmony of Dissonance, the Sorrow games, and Portrait of Ruin were extremely easy. Order of Ecclesia was a step in the right direction though, so hopefully he'll continue on that path.
I still greatly enjoyed Iga's games though. Even if neither of those areas are improved, and Bloodstained has the same quality of level design and low difficultly of Iga's Castlevanias, I'm sure it will still be a solid game. I just hope he goes through extra mile and makes it something great.
