It was okay. The biggest problems were that it was too short, the on-foot segments didn't control very well in any controller configuration (which is due in part to the GameCube controller itself being unsuitable for a twin-stick configuration thanks to its analog triggers and the properties of the C-stick in terms of placement, size, and feel), too much of the game being on-foot segments, and and low replay value.
Multiplayer was pretty cool, but an optional radar would've eliminated some of the hide-and-seek factor for some that wanted less of that.

Disagreed. I owned Timesplitters 2 for the Gamecube and it played just as fine as any other shooter for any other system.
StarFox Assaults foot segments were shit purely because they weren't very well made. If I recall correctly, there was no sensitivity setting, so by default, it took you an extremely long time to turn even 90 degrees. It could've really benefited from a 180 button, or perhaps even lock-on. On top of that, taking damage would make Fox stop in his tracks to flinch and play a grunt sound, which was almost comical for levels like the Starwolf Mercenary base where it had tons of enemies surrounding you on several levels. Basically, on-foot segments were about as polished as your average musou.

Mission 5 crashes if you die after you reach the infected "prototype" or if you fire too much in its first attack. There's also minor slowdown and some really bad pop-in in peripheral vision.
