You'll probably need component cables for the PS2 and one of these things

You basically get fucked.
Looks like you either need a SCART or Component adapter of some sort, looks like some proprietary nonsense, or something like a framemiester.
>>
>doesn't know about muh SCART
What are you, American?

Op here. It doesn't have the regular start input like pic related , but some very small input.
>>
>>336111193

Your television should have come with an adapter for it. Also one for the YPbPr port and audio L/R port.
>>
>>336111193
SCART*
>>
>>336111193
Is it circular with a pin in the centre? If so it's rf, put it in the antenna port.
>>
>>336110816
Looks like something for /g/ or /r/
>>
>>336110816
You need the scart adapter that came with the tv, otherwise you are fucked. Had the same problem when I tried to set up my snes. Some tvs don't have a regular scart slot anymore
>>
>>336110816
Looks like you're gonna have to buy some adapters for either SCART or Component. Look up Component and SCART hook ups for PS2s and study it. Also figure out your TV model and where you can purchase the adapters.

Are you Euro or Asian OP? SCART wasn't really used in America back in the day by video game consoles and most people have to mod them to be able to use SCART. This would be a good thing now to learn the quality differences between SCART and Component for each console. I have no clue how it's going to turn out for your LCD but it would look amazing with a good CRT.

>most people have to mod them to be able to use SCART.
A lot of consoles actually play nicely with RGB SCART, no modding needed.
Genesis, Saturn, PS1, and OP's PS2.
Even if you don't get RGB SCART, SCART can act as a simple composite signal and still work (albeit with worse picture quality)
>>

I remember watching some guy on youtube named phonedork who is an American and he had to mod some of his American consoles to be able to use RGB. I'm not an expert in AV btw, just advising OP to learn how the inputs for his TV. I do want a nice PVM or BVM one day and using some older consoles using RGB SCART.
>>
>>336112026

Nintendo consoles are the exception to the rule, they often don't output RGB natively.

I don't own a PVM or BVM, but if those are professional monitors they'll probably take RGB over BNC rather than SCART. You'll also have to worry about sync.
>>
>>336111193
post pic of input retard
>>
>>336112134
Yeah I've watched videos about them before. I'll study it throughly before buying one and making sure the consoles I wanna play with them are gonna look great. I'm mostly looking to play just ps1 and ps2 games. I don't want to collect for SEGA cause I never cared for that company and don't wish to collect Nintendo cause it's getting too expensive for me to care.
>>
>>336112245

Well you can get a single SCART cable for your PS1 or PS2 and just plug it in and it'll work.

Again, if you want to plug it in to a professional monitor you'll need to get a BNC adaptor and probably something to handle the sync.

Jesus Christ you are fucking stupid.

Is this how retarded kids really are?

Like this.
>>
>>336112327
Yeah I watched videos about sync and BNC before. Some BVMs and PVMs are different in the way it's worked. Like I said, I'm going to study when I have the money to do all this.
>>
>>336112550

OP, your TV should have come with an adaptor for that.
>>
>>336112550
google the input name and find an adapter

I found this in the booklet, but I have to go and search for the actual cable.

So I connect the the PS2's red, white and yellow scart to the scart adapter and than I connect the this to the circled TV scart adapter and plug it into the TV?
>>
>>336113315

That is correct.

component cable

this post is basically my job on a national service desk

Thank you very much!

an oldschool RFU adapter wouldn't work?

that used to be my go-to for ANY tv because they all have antenna/cable inputs, old or new.
>>
>>336113791

It'll look like shit, even shittier than composite. And it'll be mono.
