I found this guy at around SL35 after accidentally flattening Emma with an UGS and killing the Dancer and he wouldn't stop running me over in the second phase
naturally when I revisited him before the end of the game all he did was whiff his tailspin and claw at the walls

Lord of Cinder got me a few times with that super hit combo he does but once I got down the dodge on that I dropped him no problem.
For champ, hes so aggressive and the dodge timing on his attacks is kinda spaced out strange. I ended up turtling up for him and just poked him to death

I did my stats all fucked up and I would only have enough stam to dodge them then attack once (greataxe). After that he would hit me before i was able to roll again

I have. Which is probably part of the problem. I have a habit of gimping myself by underleveling. I was probably level 65 or something when I went in and had like 20 endurance. It was a fun challenge at least, it took me many tries but that victory was so satisfying

I rushed through the area cause I don't like fighting the abyss things. My weapon only did ~150 damage each hit and I was low on estus. Plus my first encounter with any boss I always scout the arena and watch their moves. Maybe next time I'll do you proud
