We have no idea.It mentions "reactivation" of Star Dream, but that just means Star Dream isn't a new creation - it could easily have been created by HWC previously and just put on hold. It could also easily have been found floating in space like how Magolor found the Lor Starcutter. It's implied that he built it, but not confirmed. Ultimately, though it seems like HWC IS the "ancient race", there's STILL the possibility that there's an entirely different ancient race out there.

Not in this case. In Super Star, the fountains were only used to summon Nova to them, not to power up Nova so he could grant a wish. Haltmann didn't need to summon his Clockwork Star - he has one in his possession since before his invasion. But Star Dream needed (organic) resources before it could grant a wish.
This isn't to say that it's NOT Nova, it very well could be the same Clockwork Star, just rebuilt. But Magolor's already said there's multiple Clockwork Stars roaming about, and KSS and KSSU already implied their to be multiple Nova's running about too.

Quite possible.I actually agree and think that's probably the case.
A big piece of evidence is that Holo API is built with the blueprint that was found on a different planet. It's obviously a more advanced version of Pix, which was found on Rock Star. So HWC has already co-opted advanced technology it's found. On top of that, Pix and it's space ship are VERY obviously not a native of Rock Star, and there's an equivalent "Pyramid" on Pop Star itself, so there's very obviously another space faring race out there.
All that said, it is implied in the game that HWC did build Star Dream. Whoever can build a Clockwork Star is very likely the ancient race responsible for a lot of the Kirby Universe's artifacts. So until we get a bit more clarification, this would mean it's implied they're the ancient race.
I would put money on a dev commentary on the Miiverse explaining that Haltmann found it drifting in space though.

I'm super hesitant to put the next ones.#2 I can't find a source for - supposedly it's more implied in the Japanese version, but the only info I can find on that is on /v/ - no where else is claiming specifically when HWC came into contact with Dark Matter.
#3 depends on #2 in the context of Planet Robobot and not considering the clone.
#4 is a leap. It depends not only on #3, but also on Dark Matter's existence being contingent on 0's existence. This is implied both with Dark Matter's disappearance with the destruction of 0 and 0^2, and with Dark Matter's resurgence when 0^2 became more active, but it's never actually confirmed in any game, manual, interview, commentary, or art book (in fact, very little about 0 is ever explained). Gooey and Dark Nebula's continued existence after 0's and 0^2's defeat also throws a wrench into things. But, being that Gooey's a rebel and Dark Nebula is possibly rogue, we don't know if they are connected to 0 anymore and if his existence matters to them. We also don't know which specimen of Dark Matter Haltmann gathered DNA from, especially seeing as all members of the Dark Matter species are shape-shifters. It's possible he could have gathered DNA from one of Gooey or Dark Nebula (though this would make the appearance of Swordsman Form extremely unlikely, so this isn't likely at all).
Not to say 0's not coming back - I would bet he is. The pause screen for Dark Matter Clone has VERY interesting wording: "and it's TRUE FORM has not yet emerged." This indicates, especially the "yet", that his true form is going to eventually come about. Obviously it isn't going to happen in this game, so we can probably look forward to it happening in a future game. And if Dark Matter's going to be a major player, we can probably expect 0 at some point. This part's less "Kirby Universe" lore though, and more "Meta" Lore than anything else.

Okay, so you unlinked them so that you could update the emunand without it updating the sysnand, and so that when you install games onto the emunand, it doesn't try to do it to the sysnand.
Basically it's so that the sysnand stays in it's own little isolated world, free from all your pirate misery. It's okay to fuck with the emunand after you unlink them, and it's okay to play games and make folders and shit in the sysnand after unlinking them, but you don't want to update the sysnand.
Updating the synand breaks the entrypoint and means you can't get into your custom firmware (whether it be rxtools or Cakes) anymore. I think you are going to have to redo the downgrade, anon.
It's pretty difficult to brick your system, but it's not too difficult to softbrick it and have to start over. I did it to about 5 3DS's back when the hack was first released a few months ago, so if you have any more questions let me know. I probably won't remember the specifics though, so make sure to check out /hbg/.
The only thing I could recommend is maybe I'm wrong, and you should try to use browserhax one more time and see if you can boot in via that, see if it just erased your entry point. But if I remember correctly, Ninty fixed browserhax in 10.5 so that means you won't be able to just boot back into your cfw.
Hope you can sort it out, again if you have any questions about how it works or the process let me know. It's kind of complicated first time around.
