I liked Stone Ocean. The story was a complete fucking mess, but I liked the characters and Stand abilities. And sure, there were some shitty arcs like Manhattan Transfer and Yo Yo Ma, but then you had great arcs like Jail House Lock, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Heavy Weather to make up for it. Plus, Jolyne is easily my second favorite JoJo after Joseph.
Not saying it's my favorite, but the good parts made more of an impression on me than the bad ones. I do understand people's problems with it, though.

It's pretty good but it has some problems with little things like balance and the general game flow when characters are at a distance it really reminds me of Tenkaichi 2 where it's good but not the best it could be. It has some retarded shit in it though like Kuma having a one hit ko

part 1 felt really heroic and generic rapunzel disney like (was cool)
part 2 was just wacky as hell and jokes were corny, and was really rediculous how he had a trump card for everything. (silly arc gets an ok)
part 3 was a nice mix of humor and seriousness, they balanced it well (good)
part 4 was really silly early on, but then it gets really grim (nice flow)
part 5 the most unique part with all the abstract situations that the gang was in. Loved the european environment. And the amount of stand power from diavolo and GE requiem was awesome to think about.
part 6 like part 3 had a nice mix, and to see a generic "holy man" be the true evil was ok, but the ultimate stands creation and demonstration of its power got me hype.
part 7 a nice adventure with a lot of character growth, and an epic cameo from the old jojo. The growth part of the duo was awesome too. the stands included was pretty awesome as well.

Aside from your opinion on 2 being ok this is pretty accurate. Part 2 is very wacky indeed but it's carried by how charismatic most of the characters are, the fights are also really fun even with the twists.
Part 7 is definitely the best in regards of writting and character growth.

I liked JJBA because it felt very Grand. The adventure always took people around a diverse set of environments and cultures, it was neat.
It's a reason I like 5 and 2 a lot.

In part 3 they were very one note, they were like pokemon with one attack.
