General rundown is: Get generator running, set up the railguns, go to objective marker, kill monster/get artifact, go to endpoint. Also fix any hullbreaches and get any unwanted water out the sub during all of that.These tasks are all shared across the crew obviously, so you don’t have to (and shouldn’t) do all of it yourself.

No. The game has character skills and the assistant is objectively worst at everything. Take engie or mech.
>What are the controls?
WASD to move, E to interact, Tab to chat. Type "r;" in front of your message to talk on the radio. LMB uses most objects in your hand, some others have to be “aimed” with RMB first, like any weapon or the welder/cutter. CTRL to crouch.
>How do I set up the generator?
Set shutdown temp to 6-7k, then fission to 100% until around 2k (grid load and temp should be the same), then enable auto-adjustment and you’re basically done unless someone fucks with it. Just make sure to replace the fuel rod once it’s empty.
>How do I set up the railgun?
Set the capacitors to charge at 100% and put the shells into the loader (pick them up with E, then hit E on the loader and drag them into the boxes with your mouse). Protip: C4 (and possibly stun grenades) can be put into the shells to make them more deadly.

E on the periscope, then RMB to aim and LMB to fire.
>How do I equip a diving suit?
Unequip your current clothes, then hit E on the diving suit. Don’t forget to put in an oxygen tank

In traitor mode, one or two players get to be a 'traitor.' Their goal is to kill their specific target without being caught. Blowing up reactors or opening airlocks is not a good way to accomplish your mission as traitor.

It's probably power issues, I think it's because I set all 3 batteries to charge and increased some power consumption of stuff? Should be an easy fix if so.

The engines use a lot of power, so going full tilt raises the load faster than the reactor can keep up. That shuts off power to the nav terminal, and everything else.
Having charged batteries helps to nullify this effect. It has nothing to do with host.

the server has been hosted for about 7+ hours now and the host turns into the embodiment of /v/ the moment things go sour, it has gotten progressively worse as the night went on,
if you were not at least able to enjoy a round or two try again another night, it's a fun game as long as everyone just goes with the flow, since the game is very barebones it's actually more enjoyable to have something go wrong each time instead of coasting through on easy street to see "you win" at the end. It all really comes down to the experience you have when shit hits the fan and there are hull breaches,it can get quite intense and the water is simulated nicely.
try to be careful as to what doors you open though, because you can sink the ship

It's three specific people I've gone after, and each time it's people that can't follow the basic rules of playing.

It's not like they didn't get chances to correct their mistakes, they kept making them in spite of me reminding them. All you have to do to not get bitched out is closed the doors and don't leave the nav with a direction input so you crash into walls. You know, the most basic elements of the game.
I don't care if you fuck up, I care if you can't take advice and keep putting other players in danger because you can't follow basic direction.

Unfortunately you went over the deep end and went full autisimo when it didn't even matter, the ship was incapable of having any real ascent or descent due to one single weak ballast, so after the first initial descent it was not able to pull up and bottomed out. For the other ships when I hit something usually pulling off and just setting auto pilot on maintain position would hold position perfectly, but this bounced up and down wildly and even trying to counter it myself did nothing, so I switched it back on and went to see if I could help and secure myself a chance at life.
Then full autisimo mode happened and you started complaining about not piloting correctly when the sub was actually just untested and then the ad hominems come flying in.
So in the future, just to make it easier...
If you don't want someone to captain then just say something, I only assigned it multiple times in a row because 3/5 missions went bad, if it was genuinely as bad as you say and "everyone is complaining about how blayer is autistic and terrible in death chat" then you really should have just mentioned it before hand because I would have stopped trying.
Thanks for the good laugh when you manchildren actually gave that sub a second try in a row, it was pretty hilarious to see it go pretty much exactly the same being unable to ascend or descend to maneuver around the beasts and it ends up a failure just as before, especially when you two autisimos were so sure it would go fine acting like little kids still poking at it into the next round. I hope the second version is better, it's an aesthetically pleasing ship, I just hope it's not soured by probably -the- most autistic experience I have ever had with /v/-goers.

Like I said in game, I never said I wanted you to not be captain. I just said you were bad at it because you were. But nope, you can't just accept you didn't do something correctly, it has to be that I went full autismo and that your mistake actually didn't matter so it was find that you did it.

I even let Honk honk it up until it actually affects kills people. And that's really what it is. I'm not so critical of individual people because they don't live up to my standard of how I want people to play, I get pissed when people put the rest of the server in danger. You can dick around all you want until it causes other players to die or inflate round time. And for the umpteenth time, it's not like people don't get constant reminders until I take action.

Go try it out for yourself, if you move too quick at all you end up being completely unable to move up or down. How are you even going to know this if you have not even stopped hosting for the last 8+ hours. Hell, you literally told me to get on the nav when i was on it and moving at a snails pace because it didn't want to start moving.
