Only if luck is actually relevant, like in Fallout, 2 and NV. It often amounts to "+5% critical chance and slightly better loot" instead.
>>
In Ragnarok Online, if your luck is high enough, it can actually help you evade attacks, along with getting crits, it's really useful.

seeing the thumbnail and even though i read the side of the machine, i still braced myself thinking it was some sort of strange kill machine for slaughter houses.

man, sometimes i really question my eating meat. i can't stand knowing what animasl go through just so i can enjoy steak.

Cows and chickens are really stupid animals to be fair. Their place in the animal kingdom before we started mass breeding them was basically a giant sack of meat for predators.

I don't know man, aurochs were pretty hardcore.

true, they'll always be a prey to something else. It's just something i been thinking about for a while now, personally. i'd never be preachy about it, just concerned for myself is all. that and i'd probably be what i'm reading as lacto-ovo vegetarian, meaning i'd still eat eggs and dairy products.

I don't think i could ever go full vegan

It doesn't matter, there's nothing after death. It's going to die, you're going to die, there's no consequence in the long term.

You can concern yourself with the ethics, but if you want to go through that you need to understand that humanity takes place on the food chain as well, we're just one of the only ones that are self-aware about it.

Do cows feel pain? Yeah, and we have proof of that. Are they smart enough not to be at the bottom of the food chain? Not at all.

I feel guilt killing animals who are smart enough to make some sort of difference. And beyond that, it's the personal connection you have to an individual animal that makes the difference. Some cow raised in a industrial farm probably doesn't have much ambition compared to one that died on an open-range farm.

Very true, it's just something thats been nagging at me for a long time now, is all. Again i'd never be all high and mighty about it, i'm not like that all.

I think it stems as well from I got into some ridiculous argument a few months back with someone labeling themselves as vegan. I was commenting about my shock over some animal abuse, and then for some reason they got on me, saying i'm not truly for animal rights until i stopped eating meat.

That probably messed with my head a bit. But yeah, I can't stand the types that look down on others for eating meat. I just want to look out for myself.
