Man, seeing them side by side like that is a real trip. On one side there's an almost nostalgic animation series that I loved watching as a young teen, and on the other is the awesome reboot of just one episode. If Alvin actually gets off his ass and does something with the SMBZ reboot, it's gonna be one hell of a ride. Can't wait to see that Bros v Axem v Koopas v Metal Sonic fight in 2026.
Anyway, on topic: SM64DS is, in my opinion, better than the original. People complain about the controls, but I think it handles just fine and is better for all the new content. Kirby SSU is another amazing remake, best game on the DS for sure. I can't think of many other remakes that I've played and enjoyed more than the original, but a few other anons have made good suggestions.
