It's weird how the viability of German tanks is pretty much in inverse proportion to their dickwaving status. Panzer 1 and 2 shouldered much of the incredible advance through France, 3 and 4 remained solid workhorses throughout the war and beyond, whereas the Panther and Tigers both sucked dick, and were immidiately dropped after the war in favour of better tanks which didn't break down after 50 yards or catch fire because you did something unreasonable like turning the engine off.
