But it's not like VAC is new, and with storage so cheap Valve can afford to save play data for a long long time to reanalyze later, and they're constantly working on new detection techniques, and that's particularly easy for any public cheat because Valve employees can just get it too.
So it's obviously inevitable that they'll catch any single cheat sooner or later, there is a shelf life of some number of months it'll be fun, and then the account is permabanned. So why would anyone ever use it with an account that's multiyear and has even tens let alone hundreds to thousands of dollars in shit on it?
