I think a joint dev is still best. DICE LA is good at a lot of technical aspects, but without direction or feedback they don't really have good ideas. Stockholm is great for getting shit down on paper that sounds great, but ultimately fails in execution.

UI will have a minimalistic theme to it, similar to dice's battlefront game
One of the "new" modes is an attack/defense mode where the attacking team will also be bolstered by a large attack vehicle such as a battleship or an attack zeppelin (they are heavily armored but not invincible)

Honestly glad this is a shoop because while BF1944 wpuld be great I can't see current DICE pulling it off.
It will be like going from SWBF2 to SWBF Reboot, from BF1942 to BF1944 and worse in every way, removing maps, casualizing it all, less vehicles, probably naval warfare scrapped altogether.
I'd rather we get BF5 set in the setting of BF4 with no singleplayer campaign, just tons of multiplayer maps and modes with new factions like EU, MEC, JSDF, Royal Army etc. With all their vehicles and weapons, more naval stuff, more city maps.
