Yeah, this playthrough kind of proves that he knows jackshit about the game. Jackshit about the series in general to be completely honest with you. For someone who spent "3 years" studying the game to make sequelitis, he sure forgot about 80% of it. Its funny because even Dan points out how he seems to misinterpret almost everything in the game. And Dan knows almost nothing about games.
He also has a lot of odd habits like how he wont unequip the ocarina so he's constantly in the menus switching items. and is he seriously going through the entire game not using the shield? I can understand why he's not in Dark Souls 3 (which I wish he wouldn't), but he tanks hits for no reason.
