So /v/, my mouse is dying and the pointer will randomly stop for seconds at a time. Ive had it for years but its time to move on.
What mouse do you use and what would you recommend? I play lots of games but am mostly looking for something comfortable and for precise movement, preferably for fps.
I "palm" grip my mouse if that matters.
also if anybody has that info pic about the tier rankings for mice thatd be good

Zowie are the only mice worth the $60 pricepoint. Otherwise just get any $20 optical.

What model would you recommend? Whatever looks comfortable?
m320
its wireless but last a long time on one battery and is pretty comfortable

Not really looking for wireless but thanks for the suggestion
I've been using a Logitech MX518 for about 4 years and found myself thoroughly satisfied with the hardware. It's solid, I use it a lot and neither the buttons or the cable have shown signs of wear. It does manage to collect hand gunk like a bastard though, I don't know what's up with that. It's like it sticks to it and refuses to brush off, unlike it would with a controller.
The software side is a bit shit, like with most Logitech products.
It's not in production anymore but I know there are some new versions available that are supposed to be its descendants and very similar.

if you like claw grip get a fk1/2, the 1 is larger and the 2 is smaller
if you like palm grip get one of the ZA mice, increasing numbers are smaller
if you like ergo righthand grip get an ec1/2, again the 2 is smaller than the 1

Been looking at the ec2, looks like a good mouse. I dont have large hands and im currently using a R.A.T. 7 (would not recommend) and id be a nice upgrade.

Mine gets so bad I have to clean it every 2-3 weeks. I wish I knew a cure for it. I find mice that have a rubbery type of finish don't collect it nearly as much (rubbery like where the thumb grip is)

>that satisfying feeling of scraping a long line of dead skin out from a crack

Logitech mouse or a RAT mouse. My preferred is a RAT, because I have a weird grip. I could customize the positions of the buttons, the weight (and where the weight is), and so on.
Don't get into that Razer memery.
Get a razer pretty good.

razer is just a shittier zowie with the same pricetag
