How do I play this game? I've done the intro level twice before and not continued playing. Stealth does not seem to be fun at all.

It took me like 2 years to get into this game after playing HR and I kick myself for waiting that long. Just stick with it, stealth becomes really fun once you start leveling up.

If you don't like stealth, invest in big guns, pick the GEP gun at the start, and pick up the flamethrower in the second level. Don't forget the plasma rifle, though that appears a little later in the game.
Get the ballistic armor, aggressive defense system, and regeneration augmentations, and you are a fucking walking tank of destruction.

The game becomes less stealth-oriented past the first level. To your credit, it's really shitty and not at all representative of the actual game
