Is it worth it at this point to min-max materia on ARR Relics? Or due to level scaling, would an ilvl weapon from 55+ have better stats due to how ilvl works when synching down?

I should have clarified that its for the Zeta weapons. Not sure if I should save money and just throw random stuff on, due to being so late on this, or if with the right materia combos, they end up better than Dreadwyrm and scaled-down weapons from a higher ilvl.

Well, from the two of them only FFXIV feels like an MMORPG so it wins anyway. Blizzard is all about Hearthstone nowadays and Legion is most likely gonna be shit too.

Final Fantasy has had the term "Beastman Horde" in use since Final Fantasy II and was used to categorize humanoid beast creatures like Orc, goblins, the occasional bird man, etc.
They've also used the beastman horde as a pseudo-faction in the more fantasy based games, going out of vogue with VII, and coming back into fashion in a big way with FFXI, and with FFXIV being the successor to FFXI it makes sense that they use a lot of the same terminology and classifications.

The only things magic and hearthstone have in common is the fact that both utilize cards with stats on them and the fact you hold cards in your hand and pull them from a deck I guess.
Magic is the better cardgame for sure, but they're way too different for HS to be a copied Magic. Also HS is a much better videogame.

Mana system is completely different, you don't have the ability to do anything during your opponents turn in HS, health resets after your turn in HS, it has an attack system more like Yu-Gi-Oh.

Oh and let's not forget HS was made to be a videogame so actually works as a videogame and Magic does not. It's not possible to make a good videogame out of Magic. An accurate one maybe, but without heavily gimping Magic's freedom you can't turn it into a good videogame.

FFXIV might be good if it wasn't released on consoles. The invisible walls, muddy controls, and GCD were really making it look and play like shit.
The world is so dead and plastic I don't remember the name of a single zone and there weren't any memorable quests. Can you have your chocobo out while being queued for the dungeon finder?
Modern WoW isn't much better at all. The older expansions and FFXI were much better games compared to WoW WoD and FFXIV.

You need some perspective anon, the resource system serves the same purpose and the application is the same, it's only different on a skin level and if you'd look into other card games not specifically descended from Magic, this would make itself obvious.
Health resets in Magic as well. Combat calculations are the same, card interactions are the same, all the objectives are the same. I'm not going to go so far as some other people as to call the game Baby Magic, but they're similar in so many regards.
