CRASH BANDICOOT CONFIRMED PLAYABLE IN UNCHARTED 4

A few levels of Crash Bandicoot are playable within the game on Drake's TV. There's even a mini-game where you have to beat Elena's high score.

Does this mean anything you guys?

Someone must have gotten really bored to bother code a ps1 emulator inside uncharted 4

wait, the full game?
if so, i might actually buy an uncharted game.

it means they went through a lot of work for an easter egg.

HOLY FUCK IT MEANS THAT UNCHARTED AND CRASH BANDICOOT WERE MADE BY THE SAME DEVELOPERS AND THIS IS FURTHER SUPPORTED BY THE FACT THAT THERE ARE EASTER EGGS IN PREVIOUS UNCHARTED GAMES AND THE LAST OF US REFERENCING CRASH AND ALSO JACK AND DAXTER

Finally, PS4 has a game!

That means that they had the right from Activision to do that

Yeah Naughty Dog made it, but now it still belongs to Activision

That's like Rare shoving DKC in Rare Replay

I don't think it means anything

What in the flying fuck. They modified a ROM to add a score counter that was never meant to exist in Crash for the sole purpose of making sense in the stupid story of the game?
Goddamn. It's like modern ND purposely miss the point of videogames to piss me off.

>>
>>335936439
Naughty dog made those games using their own language, GOOL.
The game was then compiler to assembly for the PS1 as usual.
Adapting the compiler is not hard.
In b4 you think they actually coded the game in assembly.
>>
>>335936564
Right. The point is still that they added a shitty thing that was never the point of Crash games. Hence my complain about them missing the point of how videogames work. Crash never needed a score counter. Because doing the top score was never the objective of the games. Making the best time in Crash 3, ok sure, but the best score? What?
It's like they don't even get the game THEY made.
>>

As far as i'm aware Sony still own the rights to the original classic ps1 crash bandicoot games, hense why they are able to put the crash games up on psn

Crash Bandicoot levels designed very deliberately, in order to maximize performance on the PS1. So the best you could do without major reprogramming (and probably adding things into the level to fill empty space) is stretching it.
