Wow. I had no idea this song existed. Honestly I think both songs are great in there own way, but if I had to pick one, I'd go with the Snake Eater theme we all know since it's such a classic.
The former sounds more like Lupin III while the latter we all know sounds more like James Bond, which is what Kojima intended.

Just swapping the singer from female to male ruined the song completely, but they went as far as to change the tune and everything else completely.
