What are YOU hoping for in the Nintendo NX? Personally, I thought the wii u was great so I don't really know what I want.
I don't have any hopes or expectations for the hardware, but I would really like to see the software side of things.
It's a bit of a shame we won't be seeing it at E3.

What a disappointment. It was meant to be the crowning glory of the WiiU. That one game that defined the system, much like Prime and Melee defined the Gamecube. And Halo 3 and Gears 2 defined the Xbox.

There's nothing that they really can do besides release several heavy hitting games that are as graphically superior as the PS4 and/or PC. And not just multi-plat bullshit. I'm talking both new and revived IP's
A system that has a responsive UI and easy friend messaging. No more of that stupid bullshit where you have to open a whole nother sluggish as fuck app just to message a friend or tell a past or present player "gg".
The Gamepad should be an addable/optional device as well. They shouldn't completely abandon it. It's superior for internet use.
All in all, I'm hoping for less kiddy games with PS4 graphics. A powerful system. With heavy hitting games -- no shovelware, minimal multiplats, tons of 3rd party support. And this should be able tosync with smartphones to download demos, check friends list, drop in and view someone's live or past game stream, etc.

I guess what I want is for them to bundle a traditional controller alongside the special controller which obviously will exist as well. I feel like such a simple thing could really go a long way in achieving various things.
For example, they could be fully confident that each NX owner has those controllers at least and design the games with that confidence in mind.

Nintendo are going to do something different (Wii U was a mistake though : bad timing, tablet controler when everyone had an iPad, bad name, etc) and I can't wait to see what is the new concept. They invested millions in R&D recently, so I have hope.
If you just want a powerful Classic system, just buy a ps4 as there's already good exclusives, or play GC games on your PC in HD.
