UVA is good, one of the ones I was considering. Though this may sound stupid all things considered, go to the place you like the most (as long as it is choosing between t14 schools)
Sure, some of the T14 may have marginally higher employment, but the quality of life is a huge deal to make sure you don't hate life as much as possible.
Philosophy will be good for law. As I am sure you know there is a lot of reading and analytical thinking.
Overall you'll do fine (as long as you stay t14 or if you are planning on working in a smaller market a top 25 within the region)
