Depends on what you prefer. VNs usually have as much gameplay as powerpoint presentations, so avoid those, unless you can stomach anime without any animation.
I would say that Persona 4 is a pretty good newbie weeb game, but it's not on PC unless you emulate it.

Disgaea is okay, but expensive.
BlazBlue or Guilty Gear are good if you have a friend to play them with.
