I don't know much about making visual novels, but I know you don't need that much fucking money. What a blatant scam.
>>335871364
The kickstarter was a success because people are fucking stupid, the console itself was a failure.

>160k
That better be some really good porn
>ouya
>made millions before it sole one unit
>people giving the devs money for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in return
>because backers
>sold like hotcakes
>more money was made
>"Failures"
Even a potato salad was a success on Kickstarter, which only proved how fucking retarded people are.
It's never too soon to say Mighty No. 9
>"Thank you for your money. :^) " -Inafune

>Achived 8.5 Million in Kickstarter backing.
>Got another 16 Million in venture capital.
>Had over 1000 games
>Released a second 1.1 black model that fixed many of it's problems
>Sold a half million units world wide.
>Sold the entire catalog to another company for millions of dollars.
Like it or not, Ouya was technically a "success."

yeah people don't understand what something ''flopping'' or failing means. Just the yesterday I saw someone talking about why EA's Battlefront flopped. Its didn't fucking flop, shit loads of people bought it. It just didn't retain a large player base because a lot of those people that bought into the hype realized how shit it was once they actually played it. By then EA already made their money. That same person compared it to battlefield hardline, which again did not flop. It sold well. Just didn't retain a large player base not too long after release.
