On the other hand, Sonic was able to keep Super form up for a week in Advance, though that might just be when he's not actively using Chaos Energy to fight. As for speed, as much as I dislike capeshit, Flash is at the very least trillions of times faster than light. Sonic in Super form as far as we know isn't close to as fast (Super Sonic was an even match for Perfect Chaos in Adventure, Sonic in base is capable of keeping up with it in Generations, while being unable to outrun a black hole one game prior. It's likely that Super Sonic is FTL, but the difference doesn't seem large enough to objectively say he could equal Flash)

When he carries people, he has to do so at a speed where they will not die. This is generally why before he uses his super speed, he has to enter the upper atmosphere so no one will be injured by the massive sonic boom he emits when accelerating. Flash, on the other hand, is not affected by the laws of physics. He doesn't even get tired from running. He has no excuse to not save everyone.
