this looks so fucking generic

In terms of turn base every game should strive for this type of combat,I'm sick of the spam weakness and buff that Atlus games shit out,and the press x to win that Sqaure games shit out

DT2 is average across the board. The gameplay is only OK.

Let me guess, EO has better gameplay

That class system, though. And those fucking infuriating dungeons.

I didn't say that, I've only played a little of EO3 and it bored me to tears.
DT2 seems deep as fuck at first, but there's only really a couple of actually unique and interesting classes, and most classes are plain useless, all the bosses are just somewhat stronger, reskinned variants of common enemies, upgrading and managing equipment is unintuitive and annoying (seriously who's idea was it to make the blacksmith a random encounter?) and the dungeons just feel like a random layout of traps and teleporters and such with very little thought or actual design behind them, and as a result the dungeons just end up being bland and forgettable.
I'm not saying it's a bad game, it has a little bit of everything you'd want from a dungeon crawler, but people hailing it as the savior of DRPG's are retarded.

What's better, this or Stranger in Sword City?
>>335852070
Uh...yes. If you wanna say DT2 is the best vita dungeon crawler, fine. But EO is still a better game overall by miles.

He only mentioned EO because EO fags really push EO any time another dungeon crawler is mentioned. It's made EO look sour to anyone who doesn't want to exclusively play the one dungeon crawler.
It's gonna be the knee jerk for a while thanks to /v/.
