Sony (and by extension, Naughty Dog) shouldn't be able to use what is obviously official Crash Bandicoot art in their commercial product, as neither are supposed to be owning the rights. All the box art says is that a deal was made between Sony and the copyright holder and there is definitely going to be other things to come of it. Nothing but good news.
That asshole teased it at psx. It's exactly what they did with the ff7 remake and that turned out pretty good for them. I think they're going for a repeat.
