This. Fucking. Ring. This has to be my favorite ring ever. Just today I invaded in the grand archives to see a host and two phantoms waiting for me. Shortly after, a blueberry arrived. I fired a shot from the dragonslayer greatbow just to rile them up from what would have been plain sight, and as they came in my direction I backed off while they searched, eventually assuming I was gone and taking the lift up. I took the long way and followed them toward the second to last encounter with the crystal sage, and came whirling in with my Farron greatsword the moment he staggered the host. Two of them, host included, went down right there. Felt amazing.

Black Hat of Pharris, Fallen Knight Armor, Washing Pole, and a lot of bows. Basically, I'm cosplaying as a redditor. Fedora, trenchcoat, Sephiroth sword, and 'guns.'
I use the Obscuring Ring, Lloyd's Sword Ring, Havel's Ring, and Sun Princess Ring. If I camp in the area with the evangelist and her horde of farmers, the newbies I get just sit in the house for at least half an hour or so because they can't shoot back at me due to Obscuring and coming out just has them either get pelted by arrows or I make them reenact Aeri_'s death scene.
I like shooting down the hanging bodies on the tree while waiting for them to man up. But I have to dash to the bonfire if they start spamming summons.
Yes, it was worth killing Aldrich with +4 weapons.

I've made a low-level build just for this purpose but it's still pretty slow. Currently at 27 ears, just 3 more... On the other hand I have around 100 tongues from getting bored and invading noobs. I find it most fun when I invade and see shit like pic related.

Invasion matchmaking prioritizes people who have a lot of phantoms. And since you can summon at least 3 buttbuddies at once, you're making a game that was once hard and punishing into a joke.
Invaders are people who want a challenge and want to punish scared little phantom spamming scrubs.

Lothric Long Spear has been doing me some good so far, though I feel like it's more like people aren't too used to fighting longer ranged weapons because I'm getting away with shit that's easily punishable. Gotta be real careful when fucking with hosts who have 2 buttbuddies with them.

I don't have it yet but from what I've heard it works exactly like the thief ring in DeS, and the thought of that gets me hard.
I want to get that shit as early as possible and keep my level around 20-25 and use it along with a greatbow to invade the catacombs to knock people off the stairs with the rolling skelly-balls.

Grand Archives is where it's at, I know that place backwards and forwards now. Level 67 and I can invade instantly. Love the guys who pop a seed of giants and chameleon, thinking they're gonna get an easy kill.
I've been using the vanilla ass Refined Broadsword +10 for everything and it seems to do fine in PvP. I want to make a new character and try a bigger weapon though, but I really don't like the greatswords in this game, someone posted Gundyrs Halberd, is that actually viable for PvP and PvE? The broadsword seems to make them obsolete for me, as long as you get in a good 3-4 hit combo you do insane damage with it.
