Also, how come WarioWare characters don't appear in any sports games? I'd love to play as Jimmy or Mona in Mario Kart.
DK in Super Sluggers had all the Kongs AND K Rool, but Wario's team was generic Bowser minions. What gives?

I doubt its the WarioWare team. I'd like to imagine its more of the Mario team not wanting to connect the universes since the worlds are drastically different in style and personality. They wanted to standardize Mario stuff recently after all.
The fact that Wario never uses his biker outfit in Mario Kart should be a direct indication of that.
Also Mike has the best theme, Ashley's is shit by comparison.

While true, there is the matter of Game & Watch Gallery's latter installments, Mario Kart and Super Mario 64 DS.
Now those teams have became one recently, so I'm not sure if EPD is going to affect Wario's crew or not. Much less Daisy's representation

In the japanese site for the original GBA game, yes. She has this thing for nose fortune telling, the rest I'm not so sure since it's mostly moonrunes. She thinks of his nose as cute and there was a occasion in one game where it's stated that she likes wild guys. Other hints just make of it as "for some reason".
I think in that very same site, there was a thing about her being fond of bugs and having quirky tastes which makes her generally a not-so-typical high school girl and more outlandish. She supposedly went with him in some adventures too. There was even a bit where she wondered if he'd enjoy a banana parfait, I think.
