A little bit unrelated because its about the anime, but apparently someone mentioned the kid right above Monokuma (who kind of looks like Chihiro) is from Class 77 , which is Hajime and the protags from 2's class. Some speculate that he was the only one in the class not to give into despair, so he's absent from the key visuals and stuff. Plus, there should be 16 classmates, and excluding Chiaki theres only 15 students when there should be 16, so people think he might be the 16th student in Class 77. We won't know till later though, could also just be a fuckup or continuity error, but with the focus their giving both game's characters with this simultaneous airing anime, its noteworthy at least.

I'll catch you up to speed friend: Theres gonna two anime airing simultaniously in June that'll wrap up the stories of characters from both games, Mirai (Future)-hen and Zetsubou (Despair)-hen. Mirai follows the protags from 1 and their coworkers at the Future Foundation and will allegedly end the story of Hope's Peak Academy for good. Period, the end, no more Hope's Peak (but who fucking knows honestly)
Zetsubou-hen will follow the characters from 2 as soon as they enter Hope's Peak Academy and we'll actually get to see what school life was like there firsthand, and presumably how they devolved into the Ultimate Despairs. Gonna be fucking crazy I hope.
All in all, its really strange, but still a must-see for fans of the series, since apparently V3 (the third game coming out later this year) will be completely unrelated save Monokuma and set in the distant Cyber-Punk future.
I feel real weird about it since the first anime is a bit *too* faithful and ended up looking really awkward, so putting some much faith into these two anime seems very risky IMO. But I'm still lusting for it like crazy, since I'm a huge fanboy of the series.I only pray Naegi and Kyoko are a canon couple and that they don't die in each other's arms

Komaeda is one of the best things to come out of the series, between his parallels with the first protag and all the batshit crazy shit he does, to telling everyone in the first trial we was instigating a murder, he pretty much exists solely to fuck with the player's expectations, and boy sure howdy did he. He was always at least one step ahead, and until the reveal in Chapter 6 you never really knew what he truly wanted or if his hope fanaticism was just an act.

Truthfully, although the reveal of the protags from 1 coming back in the finale was off the fucking walls awesome, I was really disappointed it didn't end up being Naegi. Would have made the ending of 1 make us ask "What the hell has the world outside of the school/Jabberwock become?" In the end, I'm not too bothered by it, but its still a what-could-have been scenario. Everyone coming back to save Hajime and the others would have been better if Junko hadn't impersonated him though, made it feel a little less powerful when it was like

I wouldn't say her death was "rushed". There was no murder weapon sure, but she had her throat sliced with a small blade and Mikan's a nurse that just came back from a hospital. I assume she was killed by scalpel. I think Fuyuhiko might've been a better death there than Hiyoko becauseone of the reasons they made the switch was because "Peko's death would've meant nothing." But why does death have to have meaning in a series like Danganronpa? Personally the best of all worlds would be to have Fuyuhiko get killed by Peko with the small glimpses of his true personality at the end of 2-2. If that would've happened he'd end up being one of my favorite characters in the series, probably. But he's boring for too much of SDR2 for me to say that now.
