Man, SA has my favorite character, Utsuho, but I've only ever managed to make it to Satori. I've never been able to get back to her again, but at the very least my biggest obstacle, Parsee, became a fight I can typically get passed now with little problem. Of course now my problem is Yuugi.

As someone who just 1cc'd Lunatic PoDD recently, here's some really good advice.
Ready?
Get 4 extends, then get to Stage 8.
Then stop shooting.
I'm serious, just don't destroy any generic enemies. If your opponent summons a boss, bomb and shoot it down. Otherwise, just play completely pacifist. The enemy will eventually kill herself, and thanks to theshittyway PoDD was designed, it's impossible for her to send a boss after you unless she wastes all her gauge, which she isn't likely to do. In fact, pretty much any offensive is impossible for the opponent if you don't play along, again because of how PoDD was designed.

Some of her attacks aren't actually that dangerous, so only bomb against her when she uses an attack that you feel is unsafe.

Yeah, Mima's speed might actually make the strat a little harder. Anyway, learning the generic enemy patterns is kind of a must for this strategy. By the time I figured out how effective pacifist play can be, I had already memorized how to dodge all the possible enemy patterns. 90% of them can't hit you if you stay low, though
