man i fucking love this little indie exploration game. feels so much more 'alive' than 99% of AAA open world games

check it out bros, it's free. I always come back to it every few months or so, love the atmosphere

At least be less obvious.

fuck you man, I don't even know who made it

Sorry bud, but the way you phrased it sounds like a classic advertisement.
This post is written in the most blatantly shill-like manner I'm half convicted it's just someone taking the piss.
>check it out bros, it's free
>>335776512
Just go "I made a game, check it out" next time

Not even reading OP. Drrrooooopped.
>>335776512

Apparently devs do if they are shilling their game on /v/.
>>335778306
I'm not your friend.Guy.
>>335778481
I'm not your guybuddy
>>335776512
yeah it's cool. i don't remember, does it go anywhere? i just recall ending up going around in a big circle.
i like collecting little games like this, they're interesting one time around at least. sometimes i return to them, like you, if it's fun or got good atmosphere.

i doubt it's op's, it's old and i don't think anyone's ever really talked about it on /v/. i mean there isn't much to talk about anyway.
>>335776512
know what, i wouldn't normally let a shill win me over so easily, but since it's free i'll let this one pass
>>335776512
i just fell under the map, its pretty bugged and not rly interactive, but its surprisingly comfy
Every exploration game feels like a fucking purgatory. Prove me wrong, pls
>>335776512
Does it work on Ubuntu?
>>335779078
forgot pic
>>335776512
is this that indie game with no end goal or ending? and just explore for hours ?¿

>I think this is the kind of junk that people download and play to try to pretend that they're sophisticated
he's taking it way too seriously. but i don't know, rock paper shotgun probably did too. it's comparable to a neat little painting or something. you look at it, you might like it, that's it. no pretension to it. but i'm never surprised when people like rock paper shotgun and other certain sites go too far with praising little indie games.
i made a little game once and someone on killscreen wrote an article about it. it was funny because he made it sound a lot more interesting than it actually was, and pulled a little meaning out of it even though that was unintended by me.

a lot of times they really do. there's even a subset of "games" called "voidscapes". the whole idea of those is that they basically are video game purgatories. i really prefer exploration games when there's some mechanic pushing the thing forward or there's character interaction. like yume nikki or off-peak. off-peak also had awesome music.
can this thread just be about these kinds of games in general?
