He had i-frames because enemies get those for some reason when climbing ladders. Either way if you could hit you would still climb off. If you don't like games not holding your hand you might as well kill yourself.

Video games have different mechanics, and sometimes, the "physics" of the video game world don't match perfectly with real life. And usually, the first time you encounter a problem such as OP's webm, you learn how it works and work around that in the future. Does that help, anon? Isn't it almost time for bed for you?

How? How does it hurt having attacks go through someone rolling rather then not registering? If they want to be cheap they don't have to make an animation for it yet still have the attack register damage. Same thing for ladders.

Easy with those buzzwords my friend, I'm not sure you know how to use them correctly. In this very specific example, I would argue that it's better game design to not be able to kill enemies while they're stepping off of the ladder. It forces you to actually fight that enemy instead of bitching out, but keep in mind the enemies are completely vulnerable during most of their time on the ladder. But to elaborate on my point about glitches and exploits, this game is designed to be online at all times. That means players can enter your game at almost any moment, and the game needs to reflect that. Those i-frames that apply to the Hollow soldier on the ladder also apply to you, which you'll be thankful for when you're fighting a human player online.

I don't really understand what you're trying to argue. I'm not saying the Souls games are free of flaws, but you are making some pretty shitty examples of flaws. However, at this point I've realized that I'm probably arguing with someone under the age of 18, and you stubborn little faggots never listen to people anyway, so go fuck yourself I guess

it allows you to map "jump" ( i have no problems with delayed jumping anyway ) but it doesnt allow you to separate rolling from sprinting which is the shit. Sprinting always uses the same button as "dash/roll/sprint" and thus rolling will always be delayed.
