X collection is still slightly borked though:
"X - Almost perfect, but Storm Eagle's weapon can "overlap" and be quite annoying. And the flash from the title screen is gone.
X2 - If you watch the opening intro, the sounds loops over the title screen music... How'd they miss that? Also, more of that overlap.
X3 - The poorly-rated PSX version (it was built for the SNES, but a port was made for Saturn and PSX that added some silly cutscenes and jazzed up the music). I don't know what the differences are, but I do know that the CD versions had infamous load times and that was eliminated, plus the resolution was reset to SNES quality.
X4 - Load times are now instantaneous. Voice clips are remastered (allegedly, they were taken out and then reinstated during development of the collection when they were going to go all out and redo the voices and add all sorts of features).
X5 - Load times are now instantaneous. Vibration support is gone. Some odd "B's" or "8's" appear in places they did not (ie. "Zero! 8t's not safe!!"). The reason for this is unknown.
X6 - Load times are now instantaneous. Vibration support is gone. The Japanese voices were completely taken out of the cutscenes (though you can turn them off in the original).
Battle & Chase - Based on the European version, which took away some of the Japanese features such as "interviews" with the characters."

What's wrong with the PS2 version of the Anniversary Collection? I know the Gamecube versions of these collections are usually hated for Capcom swapping inputs for no reason.
As for the X Collection, I have a U.S. cart of X and Jap carts of X2 and X3, so I can play those if I want to play them. I got the X Collection so I'd own X4, X5, and X6.
