Always going to be sad there will probably never be a third game involving the Shadow Pokémon.
I was just attempting to emulate this earlier. Why is the beginning so shit? I just finished Colosseum and I was immediately bored of this new MC. The only character that looks kind of cute is the sister, but she's not gonna follow me around forever is she? I have a machine that lets me see Shadow Pokemon, not a qt 3.14
My first gamecube game, got it with the special edition gamecube. Was expecting a 8-gym style game like the handheld games.
I was pleasantly surprised. It was really fucking fun
This and Colosseum were pretty fun, but they were slow as fuck.
That being said, I'd love a mainline Pokemon with some of these ideas, like not focusing on badges and making the world feel more organic and less like it's built on a grid.
Also, Colosseum probably has the best soundtrack in the series.

I loved the variety, you had pleasant places like Phenac City and Agate, but then you also had shady places like Pyrite Town and the Under.
A little bit of world building goes a long way, something like that would really draw me into a new generation of Pokemon, because as it stands, I'm so tired of the usual formula.
