You're correct. Every character has different fall speeds, dd lengths, shields, different fucking everything. Even jumping is different with characters, and timing on basically everything related to movement. You should definitely use 1 character when you want to improve, and use secondaries later.

But, that's not true. Mango does fine against ICs using Fox. If what you were saying was actually correct, then how come ICs mains aren't winning every tournament they enter? You're simplifying things. If you're really getting grabbed that much, your spacing is off and you need to fix that.
Also, how come when someone gets grabbed in a game it's perfectly normal and they just got outplayed, but when an IC does it, the character is broken and should be banned?

The biggest misconception about tier lists is that they show just how "good" a character is. The only thing a tier list shows is how well they fair against the character(s) atop the metagame. ICs placement , and the placement of any character, is more or less reflective of how they compete against Fox, but just because Fox has an answer to wobbling doesn't mean the other 25 characters do.
Hell, for Fox's weight class wobbling isn't even as threatening as a lot of chaingrabs that have the same outcome, but don't require 2 characters to be on screen.

Please read my previous comment about everything i'm saying being relative to mid/low level. Nobody in thread is a mango level player, hell, nobody here could beat Toph from what people are saying.
I'm not speaking purely out of my own experience, i play daily with a ICs that can wobble fine, it doesn't matter what you do spacing wise, grabs are fucking easy to land in this game.

The only viable tech Doc has is upB cancel. Other than that I mainly just practice by moving around the stage (wavelanding, ledgedashing, etc) while throwing attacks in, and shadowboxing. Need to update 20XX since iirc you can control DI in the new one. Also need to look into aerial interupts, not sure if it can be consistant with Doc, but Hugs says he does it with Samus a lot

This, especially if you go for crouching ones. You don't even need to PS every laser, just enough that they hesitate to shoot it in neutral. And yeah, try to maximize what you get off a grab at every percent/stage position. You don't have to go to m2k flowchart autism levels, but feel like you have a general plan for the major ranges. You can practice this really easily in 20xx, but don't practice against computers that can't DI.
Any veteran Samus mains here got any advice? I'm kind of confused about her crouching jab pressure because I keep on getting punished for it.

youre not spacing it right, they key is to jab from outside of their shieldgrab range to force them to drop into a dash
its also not safe, its just good at catching early reactionary options like shieldgrabs, you need to mix up your pressure with tilts or even a bomb if they adjust to it

Chain grabbing is good but it's not always an option. However, Falco has super shitty recovery, if you get him offstage he SHOULD die like 100% of the time. You can snuff phantasm with downtilit or jab, depending on how high he is. For firebird counter it if he goes for ledge, or just fsmash him.
