What moveset does the parrying dagger use? The rapier or the shield-swipe?
Ive been playing around with cestus, rapier and scimitar on offhand, and the scimitar was so horrible, the rapier had such a long delay after the parry and the cestus is good I guess.
IT is a shame, would love running around with a off-hand rapier.

Stats wise, at that moment of the game I think it's probably the best by far. In any case, I had the impression that, at least from a certain point, armor doesn't that much in this game. When I was having enough souls I would just buy whatever new armor looked good, withour caring much about the stats.

Dunno man, I feel kinda the same although I'm only a few hours into ng+. My overleveled qualitybuild is wrecking shit too hard, I think I fucked up leveling this high. I don't feel like making a mage or another cleric because the actually difficult bosses never give you time to cast anyway.
Currently I kinda enjoy Onikiri + Ubadachi with pretty light armor.
