Why is From so shit at character creation? You'd think after four games they'd ditch this bullshit for something better.
You can select body and face seperately, there are no games with good scar or tattoo systems, height is a garbage gameplay mechanic, and it's the fucking middle ages. It's a wonder From managed to make anything resembling humans with FaceGen.

It worked wonderfully in Dragon's Dogma. But it doesn't even have to change gameplay at all. The fact that we can't adjust our characters height even a little bit is because of lazy design.

Not really. Even the best looking characters still look like potato-faced tards.
Just fucking look at Dragon's Dogma. Great customization that actually let you create good looking characters without all the sliders and with way more options. And it's a fucking ps3 game. From has no excuse.

There's basically no reason not to play a character as tall you can stomach looking at while keeping weight under 70 kg in DD.
Sure it could be added to Souls but it'd be really hard to balance. Small hitbox vs. longer reach (and maybe carry weight and movement speed).
