Chameleon is fairly late game so unless you gimp your leveling just to fuck around you'll be only using it in the latter areas (Irythil Dungeon is a nice place for it), and you need 12 INT if that triggers your minmax autism.

Pure Sorcery is pretty much shit at the moment. Enemies are strong to it and it has obscene MP costs for the damage it deals. That and scaling is fucked, it doesn't start scaling well until 50+.
Fortunately, it's getting adjusted in a day or two.
Faith Lightning builds are in an even worse state.
However, Pyromancy is quite strong. 40/40 seems best right now.
Just be aware that magic takes obscene amounts of stamina.
