I've never touched a Ratchet and Clank game before and am 22 years young, would I enjoy this or is it just for nostalgia?

Play the origionals of the HD ps3 ports
The PS4 game has decent gameplay, but the story, characters, music and atmosphere are all terrible
Its also kinda short

The fact you haven't played the originals will make it better actually, you won't notice the lesser music or frame rate reduction
So yeah enjoy away

They all emulate like shit so make sure you either get the remakes or play the original versions, also how could you nostalgia over something you never played before?
You'd enjoy it. It's a fun game with what is currently the best graphics on consoles. Very light on content and character/weapon progression compared to previous titles, though. Not marketed as a full $60 game, either.

You should get it

>Ratchet is the spiritual successor to Crash.
That's Jak and Daxter, though. The only similarity is the explosive crate.

>Ratchet is the spiritual successor to Crash.
At first i was gonna say you are retarded
But the levels are all 2 or 3 corridors
And there are crates with mini crate puzzles
So it kinda is
Id say the first one is definitely a spiritual successor to spyro
