When keeping in mind that MP3 has Sam Houser as its writer I'm not disappointed by the dialogues.
There's a bit of noire remaining but it has that more violent vibe GTA has, and I find it enjoyable.

I guess not being able to skip cutscenes right away is only a major problem under a scoring perspective, and trying to get the best run in New York Minute.
Otherwise it seems petty, time spent grinding in single player/coop modes waiting for completion bars to fill up or get "that" drop in a lot of games is a far worse offender in my opinion in terms of low value playtime.

It's an issue in story mode if you want to replay it in one go. And please don't say it's loading, I get tired of having to prove that it isn't.
It's not petty when the game is putting out cutscenes left and right and not only that but these semi-cutscenes for opening doors and shit, it's just badly designed.
If they were few and far between with actually important shit happening in them I'd be more lenient with them but I'd still think it would be better if you could skip them.

It had taken me right into the heart of it. Becker's gimps were everywhere, so he and Branco must be close. Smart move would have been sticking with Da Silva and going straight to the hangar, but when was I ever about smart moves? Story/writing is the worst in the series, which isn't a surprise since it's made by a different developer. The core gameplay mechanics are great, but overall held back by the pacing and cutscenes.
