Animal Crossing is essentially a mobile game anyway. If they just make something at the same level of sophistication as New Leaf and monetize shortcuts/limited aesthetics they've got a license to print money.
I'd play a gashapon Fire Emblem game.

We literally have just the franchise names to go for and that's it.
For all we know, Animal Crossing could be a home decor app where Tom Nook tries to jew you out of your real sheckels, and Fire Emblem could be a social app about creating support conversations with people you ride in train with.

At least Phoenix and "Everyone get rezzed after mission" options might be out to push the cash shop bullshittery. This in itself might make the game closer to its roots than Awakening even was when non-permadeath was not even an option. And the only who'd pay for the rez would be scrubs.

This really would be the best outcome. Hell, you could make the exact same app for both franchises, just one with Isabelle and one with Camilla/Lucina.
