I cancelled my kickstarter one cause /v/ made me see sense. Not only did they still give me a limited edition one, they sent me a second limited edition controller,mand a t-shirt. I then managed to get over $110 of free codes people posted on the comments section and now razer is giving me $75 off their new android console.

Ouya was an excellent example of how marketing and subversive press releases can make a great profit for people.
They deliberately made polls about "What game would you like us to get on ouya next?" shit with obvious never-options like skyrim and pokemon and whatnot, but the idea of those games being on the ouya was very appealing to people.
We're seeing the same thing right now with this ps4 re-release. In all reality it's probably just a ps4 with 4k video output capability and nothing more, but people are hyping it up themselves, and these deliberately mis-informed rumors are spreading like wildfire, and idiots on both side of the argument involving it are spewing random shit that we 100%, absolutely do not know for sure. No matter how many "reliable sources" say jack shit, until the console is out, or sony actually fucking announces it's existence, we just do not know. case fucking closed.
