They delayed Federation Force because a new Metroid game is in the works and it will be announced this e3.

probably they're going to have a direct in december like last year to show everything off.
I'm glad nintendo isn't part of the loud, embarrasing shows sony, MS and other companies throw at E3, they're too elaborate, what´s worng with showing the game, why you have to bring in cars, celebrities, girls in bikini to a press conference.
