The PS4K is already set to release before or around next March. Even though the NX will be fucking amazing we NEEDED it to release before the next iteration of the PS4. What have we gotten in the last 5 years that's worth anything?

Sun and Moon will be shit regardless. Pokemon is fucking deader than the state of balance in the series. We've got that shitty Fairy type that is a blight, power creep getting so strong that SALAMENCE isn't even top tier anymore (and also because Fairies are a fucking broken menace), they're hitting a limit for which adding new Pokemon is feasible, and they're going to continue making terrible looking Pokemon games until a new portable system comes out with way better hardware.
Sun and Moon is going to be mediocre at best. I hope I'm wrong, but when Pokemon is in such a horrible state that people would rather play previous generations more than the new stuff, I dunno...

One thing I agree with is that the game will probably look exactly like Gen 6 which is pretty lame. Sure, all the 2D Pokemon games looked similar, but I enjoyed looking forward to the new pokemon sprites and environments and all that.
However I don't give a shit about the power creep. Pokemon is trash for competitive play and probably always will be. I just want an enjoyable main story, and I don't mean a good narrative or plot (Although that would be nice, get the mystery dungeon team to help or something) but just, I don't know, make it feel like the story isn't there just because it has to. That, some good music, a decent amount of new Pokemon (Shitty or not, I don't care. The shitty ones make the nice ones stand out more anyway) is all Sun and Moon need for me to be pleased. But a hard mode would be nice too.

Why are you guys so mad? We just got Star Fox, which is a huge game that'll last us well into 2017. I like Nintendo's quality-over-quantity approach, because there are too many games coming out these days for people to keep up with anyway. Look at all those Valvedrones with their enormous backlogs that they'll never finish, and those Sonyfags and Xbots with 50 multiplatshit games to every exclusive. Nintendo doesn't need huge libraries full of multiplats and third party games. Nintendrones are a very unique circle of pathetic. They've been parroting the same shit dating all the way back to at least the GameCube. Underpowered, oddball hardware direction, loss of third parties, stuttered release schedule resulting in massive dry spells. Every generation we go through the same thing; promises that the next generation will be better, there will be more games, third parties will be won over, no more dead line-ups, no more abandoning the hardware. The Gamecube definitely wasn't underpowered. They released, for $199/£129 on release, a console far more powerful than the PS2. Most of your other issues with it are fairly accurate though.
