Where is the Worms MMO?
I'm not talking about a shitty RPG. I'm talking about 32 worms on a single massive map all independently controlled by 32 different players. Where is the OpenTTD of Worms?
You mean in realtime?
can you imagine having to wait for 31 players everytime you finish your go?

>>335647041
simultaneous turn based would be fun
>>335648612
Do you mean in the way where everyone decides their turns at the same time, then they all play out at the same time? That would be hell kinda, but then it would add the need to predict enemy moves to be able to hit them. Interesting/10

Do you mean the "everyone does their action on their own and then all 32 "turns" play out in real time simultaneously"? There's a name for that, I forgot it.
>>335649167
the name for it is FUCKING RADICAL, that's what
>>335645536
How about worms 3d like game which would have big "worlds" with 100's or 1000's of players?
>no Worms with light crafting elements
>no WormsForts
>Having to wait 31 turns to play
>Having to wait for people to fucking make their turn when they're slow fucking assholes who have to stop and look through their inventory every 5 seconds yes you still have the fucking homing missile steve it's not going to just fucking disappear fucking play the game

That would be absolutely hilarious with 32 players. It would probably just devolve into bananas everywhere though.
>>335645536
Then it'd be Gunbound
>>335650573
remove banana/holy grenade, problem solved
>>335650410
Turns move at 4 players at a time.

>Removing best weapons
There is nothing better than a banana bomb that backfires on someone
>>335650953
Who the hell throws/drops a banana bomb without 5 seconds timer and a safe escape plan?
>>335651153
>not playing with retreat time set to 0
Casual as fuck detected
>>335651542
in that case just throw the bomb away enough, or use the rope to drop the banana, that way your main weapon is still the rope and you have enough time anyway to place yourself in a safer place with it.
>inb4 setting rope retreat to 0
you better remove the rope at that point
>>335651951
Retreating is just lame period. I don't know why it bothers me. It feels like it violates the spirit of the game. It's like you're trying too hard for just how not serious a game Worms is.

Free to have your opinion, but there are quite a few schemes(or rules and techniques in other schemes) that are heavily based on retreat time, like Hysteria, or using a 0 powered banana in rope race/big rope race at the last second to have more time to keep moving.
