people here worship this game
>>335636327
Rightly so, it's a fucking masterpiece
>>335635172
>no Shovel Knight
REEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Sonic Gen and Strider are not better than Legends.
>>335635172
sonic generations is mediocre as fuck
i swear sega shit out a sonic game that isn't hot garbage and suddenly its the greatest platformer ever made
i really do not understand why its liked so much
>>335638034
fuck those 8-bit levels
>>335638509
They were the worst on Vita since it scaled down the same regardless of resolution, so it was even harder to see on the Vita's 540p display vs. 720/1080p.
I mean, if there was no music score to sorta jump/punch to the beat this would be trial and error.
Tropical Freeze is easily in the top 5 best platformers of all time, so obviously that's true.

This part was absolutely bullshit, I also played it on the Vita and I had to replay the regular level just to figure out how to beat it. The three dragons at the end also fucked me up as well, pure bullshit.
Absolute bullshit, but it gave me an adrenaline rush so I guess it was alright in the end.
>>335640321
I got lucky and finished the three dragon part on the first try in 8bit, despite fucking it up about 10 times on normal.
Still working on the awesomeness grind via the dailies though.

I'm trying to but it's hard when I know I'll never be able to obtain a Diamond Cup. I'm too slow for this game.
>>335640659
I was fortunate enough to get it in the early weeks of the game's launch, then I forgot about the game for two years.
But yeah, diamond cup near impossible without either co-oping certain challenges (who owns two Vita and two copies of the game?), or being a god, since only 2-3 folks can get diamond per challenge with the current attendance counts.
>>335640856
It's usually the same 2-3 people who manage to get top 3 on the leaderboards so it's near impossible to even manage to stay there without staying on your Vita all day. You got lucky as fuck though man.
>>335641114
They need to just combine the leaderboards per platform or adjust the % requirements for diamond/gold at some point.
>>335641495
Yeah it's the only thing holding me back from getting a platinum. It kind of sucks considering I didn't have to worry about this kind of stuff when platinuming Origins.
Still a good game, but the Murfy levels kind of stinked.
>>335641649
I was originally hoping Murfy levels on Vita would be best of both worlds where you could pick between full Murfy, controller-only, or both.
The pacing on those levels drags the whole thing down when left up to the AI.
Generations is trash.
It's like a quarter of a fucking game with the rest being unadulterated filler. I swear, people on here only remember the small sections of games they looked and forget the rest.
>>335639807
That's the idea anon. You play by rhythml, not sight.
>>335641730
Yeah, the ones that made use of the gyro also were a little annoying, they ruined the pacing of the game drastically imo. It would just mean pressing restart sequence over and over until you got it right, it didn't feel right.
The final levels of each painting were top tier though, wish there was more of that.
>>335638021
Bad noisy music, mediocre level design and parody of Ducktales gameplay
NO THANKS.
>>335639807
It's the typical "games for gamers" ubisoft give to their hipster audience
