Young Frankenstein. Made in the 70's and done in black and white as tribute to the original Universal Frankenstein film. One of Mel Brooks' best. Tight as fuck script, great cinematography that is both contemporary (at the time) and classical. Fucking hilarious, easily one of the best comedic casts ever assembled.
Building on that, just about any of the Universal monster movies. Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy, etc. They're all really great. Hell, I'll just go ahead and say anything with either Lon Cheney or Boris Karloff.

As a child I found an old pachinko machine in my grandpa's storage shed. That shit fascinated the hell out of me. It didn't even work properly so I took it apart and managed to fix it. Man that thing kept me entertained. If a kid saw that thing today they would just throw it away or say it's broke and walk away.
The problem isn't that the thing is old and the kids are understandably so into newer things, it's their obnoxious attitude.

Flac sounds better bit only if you're in you're young and still can hear high frequencies, you get a TINY bit crispier cymbals compared to V0 MP3.
You can replicate the sound a vinyl with prerecorded scratch noises and audience DSP functions made from running tones records through the medium and comparing it to the source.
Digital is God tier, but producers are shit, you can fake the warm sounds for the same reason we can do HRTF for stereo Headphones surroundsound (not that stupid CMSS3D crap) and do. PBR lighting with properties made from the original objects.

Gothic has shit controls yet better world design than anything modern
Morrowind has shit combat, but better skills and world design than anything Bethesda has done since.
Doom has God tier level design and weapon balance because it's practically modern art in how pure and low fat in design.
Learning to appreciate something for what it does in the time it was made, and the things it did well that modernity has forgotten about, that's one of the most important things a creator can learn.
