Kickstarter has, rightfully, become the new DLC of the industry. MN9 has been the quintessential purgation needed to work this shitty idea out of people's heads. Here you had a game which people actually wanted, gave sufficient money to, were ready to wait for, and right out the gate the backers were shat on by Diana, and now this game has a literal AAA dev time with no end in site.
Kickstarter is a failed business model for the games industry. So is indie. So is DLC. These bullshit iFunding, audience shafting gimmicks are no replacement for a 10 man team and 18 months crunch spent making a _fucking video game_.
