Post games that you feel were so obscure that you feel like you're the only one who owns it.
>>335270628
i used to enter the invincibility cheat then play the mission where jack is chased by black cars. he would ragdoll fifty feet up in the air but he'd be fine but the car ai would just crash until both cars blew up by themselves. good times
based game
>>335270628
>>335272357
Fuck that helicopter level
I have never met another human being that has even heard of this let alone played it...I remember having a good time with it though
>>335272832
i found that easy compared to the end of that one mission where you play as tony and you're covering the bomb disposal team in a construction site
>>335270628
>>335273107
Recently played it. Weird third person controls and unbalanced psychic powers but I had a great time with it. Worth a look.
>>335273107
I played that when I was a kid. Only got few the first few levels. Been wanting to play it again
>>335273391
I swear I played this game but don't remember a damn thing about it
worst game ever
>>335273107
I'm fairly certain this was popular at release, at least with people I knew.
>>335271479
Combat was a bit wonky but the stealth itself was pretty good.
>>335270628
This was one of those games where you knew it was a major cutscene cause the graphics would go up by 100% and then return to the normal shit.
>tfw impossible to get it running on modern OS's
>>335273107
I used to beat it every other month. Great game. I always tried to make ghost runs in most of the future levels but only could ever do it in the 3rd one
>>335273731
Kremlins vs Ducks?! I lovĀ“d that game
Used to play this with my dad all the time back in the early 90s.
>>335273170
i had this on gc
>>335273142
I don't remember the helicopter level, but I do fucking remember this one. Was hard as balls. Not sure i ever actually completed it.
>>335275559
it was atrocious, and i'm pretty sure the bombs go off anyway to advance the plot
>>335273731
People barely even remember the show.
>>335270628
>>335274590
The human world section of this is great, would recommend playing at least that much to anyone here. The underground and sky worlds however are full of bullshit and the increasingly huge levels drag out far too long.
Also protip, build a platform for arthur to stand on at the start of every level so no cheeky shits walk over and kill him whilst you solve puzzles elsewhere.
>>335270628
People have told me that this game was cancelled and never released
>>335274841
I remember seeing this on a demo disc, brings back memories.
Way harder than it should be
>>335276559
This has been at a pawn shop near my house for YEARS
>>335276462
>Inspired By THE FIFTH ELEMENT
what the fuck?
>>335270628
>tfw it's impossible to play it on emulator
This fucking masterpiece
>>335276559
That box art is way better than the UK version.
In game she looks like a poorly rendered chibi fuck, and i remember the dialog being painfully cringe inducing
>>335270628
I had the demo that came with the playstation magazine, I remember it had a good cover system.
>>335273107
Beat it.
Mad fun.
>>335273391
I have this game for the gamecube, for some reason the main character looks nothing like Tom cruise, the game has some funny physics though, cool melee combat too and fun weapons
>>335276645
You are not alone
Isnthat the American cover? It looks diffƩrent from the french one
Also the dub was absolutly horrible in my country, the secret ending is a pain in the ass to get and its shitty
>>335273762
That cover made me remember this.
>>335277541
Shes voiced bygwen stefani
>>335270628
>24 is a fucking obscure game
Truly the board is filled with 12 year olds.
>>335270628
Has some DLC on it, since the Wii and PS2 versions of RB1 didn't support DLC. For some reason they released later discs like this on 360/ps3 as well, but this one's Wii and PS2 only.
>>335277762
Thats far from obscure, anon.
>>335278920
Still never hear any discussions about it.
>tfw bought this, Psychonauts, and Ninja Gaiden Black on the same day
At least I had 2 good games to play afterwards.
>>335274841
Had such an awesome soundtrack!
>>335278692
did you like it
Nobody else has this, I swear.
>>335278874
>For some reason they released later discs like this on 360/ps3
The fact they all came with export codes made it worth it. I paid maybe 20 bucks and got all of them except the two country ones.
>>335277238
I remember this shit. Used to play it all the time with my cousins. Good times.
I bet nobody on /v/ owns this sick fucking game
>>335278778
Tfw they are kickstarting a spinoff right now
Also, the artworks of the babes I saw in gaming magazines gave me mad teenage boners.
One year I got this for Christmas because we were poor and it was in the bargain bin
>>335276369
I remember liking it, but can't quite catch why.
>>335270628
>>335270985
Worth a good chunk of money.
>>335273762
I own it, lost the disc though..gonna try and find it, it was a decent game
>>335280946
I played the fuck out of this one, dreaming of one day being able to play Grand Theft Auto III.
Stuff I remember:
>If you touched a civilian NPC car they would automatically make a full stop like they died right there
>Story mode was too short and 1/3 of it were tutorial missions
>City was fucking huge and well detailed for a fucking PS1 game
>Shooting from the car was kinda funky
>Driving physics were pretty good
Not that obscure, but I've never seen it talked about here.
This POS
>>335279186
Holy shit i remember getting this from the gamestore as a little kid thinking it was a barney game!
>parents go out when I was about 10
>babysitter just lets me do whatever
>It's Saturday
>Literally play this ALL day, one map.
>4 vs 4 me and 3 bots vs 4 bots.
>Unlimited resources.
>Whole map is covered in fucking everything.
>Literally a tug of war.
God as autistic as it was, I was glued t the screen.
>>335274383
Lol what even is that gramps?
>>335284279
magnums in this game plus the gore, so satisfying
>>335284301
Played that and the "sequel"
I had no idea how to play this game too.
Weirdest game I've ever owned.
absolute modern classic, truly a hidden gem.
I bought this at a pawn shop for 4 bucks.
>>335285389
4 bucks sounds expensive for that
>>335276559
I also have the ps2 vers, good game.
>>335277762
not obscure
>>335273170
played the gba version
anyone played this?
>>335282978
I own this. Short but good.
>>335273107
>Finding the assault rifle in the locker room and murdering all the people in the training area
>>335284678
I've owned this since it launched and still have no idea what to do. I think they sold an unfinished game.
>>335270628
No? Never seen any discussions of this anywhere.
>>335286768
I did have this though
Not a bad game by any means, I liked how it was just a Rayman 2 MP Mod
Horrible game where the devs seemed to just stop making it half way.
I don't remember anyone that has told me they know this game.
>>335286584
i fucking loved this game
>>335286383
>implying Myst is an obscure series
>implying Riven wasn't the most popular entry in the series
It was the best selling PC game of '97, what are you smoking?
>>335286958
Wow you're the first person I've ever spoken to owned this besides me.
>>335283752
Holy shit. I think I've actually played this game but it was a long ass time ago on an emulator so I barely remember it.
>>335287143
I remember playing it, that is all I remember
I also remember that the last level was a foresty area that was kind of garbage
>>335277238
Ace fucking choice.
>>335273107
>go to book fair
>see book with the same cover of the guy in despair but without the gun or logo
I think the writer was italian or something
>>335278778
This game was the shit. I remember near the end you had to burn paper to get ammo when your in hell. Second one was also pretty good
>>335270628
I had a CSI: Miami game.
Never got pass the first case 'cuz at the time and I was too stupid to understand how to do thingsand english isn't my first language
>>335273107
Always saw this in local game stores for $5, probably will download the PC version. Does it need any fixes?
This game was pretty fun. Had to order it originally
>>335277762
This came with my Xbox anon
>>335287549
neat game. i wish there were more options for handheld dreamcast emulation.
cool game. controls were a little stiff. took me awhile to figure out what to do in the game. each time i progressed a little further
Literally a game about a black sheep shagging other sheep. Early 00s were weird in Germany, everybody played either this or Mohrhuhn
>>335270628
This fucking game
>>335274841
I still have it. Anybody know if it plays well? I kinda want to play only got around the first level years ago.
>>335288008
I remember playing a demo of that i think. Isn't it like worms but with pigs?
>>335273706
Looks cool, gonna dl.
>>335287184
>EXTREME HARDCORE marketing on the cover
>cutesy Bond-esque kid's game on the inside
They really misadvertised this game. It's good, though.
>>335288097
Yeah, pretty much, and it was third person
>>335284301
This was the shit when I was younger. Good times.
>>335273170
SOMEONE ELSE? FUCK YES. I fell in love with this game in the arcades and bought the GC version asap.
>>335287819
Played that one.
>>335280946
Wow. I completely forgot that I used to have this game. My mouth is currently agape. Thank you for the memories
>>335286992
It was a buggy as fuck game with shit tier models and graphics, but god damn the story, the cutscenes and the atmosphere were great, the gameplay was also fun.
pretty great game
>>335286316
fucking LOVE that game
MDK2, a game made by Bioware that everyone forgot.
>>335286316
My nigga, not really incredibly obsucre, but that don't matter. Fun ass game with amazing minigames. So much fun. I'll never forget my favorite moment
> be me, aimlessly cruising around the seemingly massive and never ending game world (then again I was real young when I played it so that could be wrong)
> I believe I was in salt lake city, come across a casino
> go into roulette and bet all my money because I had no idea what I was doing
> ended up getting the winning number and color and making double my money
> feltgreatman.
>>335284279
I thought about this game just the other day. It was the only game that made me put up with fucking StarForce.
>>335289727
Amazing games, just wish they'd been given the HD remaster treatment. Still look good over Component.
>>335289727
I love this game and the sequel
>>335284158
what is this? looks cool
>>335287848
This and Urban Chaos 2 were the only FPS games I enjoyed with a gamepad.
>>335289727
They felt like over the top ultraviolent episodes of The Bill.
"But Frank, The DCI said.."
FUCK THE DCI, HE CAN ARREST ME LATER!
>>335270628
Does this count?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSLogEWznvg
These weren't very obscure, but does anyone else remember all those old Bond games for the ps2? Everything or nothing, nightfire, From Russia with love. I think I bought 007 Agent Under fire before I even knew who James Bond was.
This game was absolute trash.
I put on a tantrum as a kid begging for a new ps2 game and this was what my parents decided to pick for me
>>335290202
Everything or Nothing was pretty good fun.
>>335290304
Gosh I forgot how fun that game was. I hate I sold it.
>>335284158
>10
>Not already watching the house yourself
>>335290304
fuuuck I remember that
>>335290202
I had Rogue Agent and it was prettyshit.
>>335287008
Played it with my Dad when I was younger, found it in a bargain bin at Gamestop and cheap and it looked pretty decent
I remember we fucked up the water level after killing the boss and had to reset the entire level
>>335290304
>tfw this game allowed you to softmod your ps2
I really liked it
>>335289727
>finding the old WWII tank
>>335290192
Also this. I missed out on Twisted Metal as a kid, but I played this on my neighbor's Gamecube and later got it for my PS2. So it was kind of my introduction to that type of game. Really good game, especially multiplayer.
This one looked pretty good... But I couldn't understand jackshit of what was happening and ended up dropping it at the 2nd area or so
We will never see such an off the wall use of the WWE Brand again.
>>335290202
i didnt like the EA bond games expect for Everything or Nothing. i came from the n64 to gamecube and EA bond games had much higher fps which i couldnt adapt too.
The N64 truly did have some weird "out there" games, and this was one of them I owned.
>>335271479
What would a game of this show even be about? Whats the plot? The gameplay? Am i running around the white house as cory collecting gems?
>>335289932
Dark Reign
>>335289596
The gliding in that was fun
>>335291119
It's an RPG / Adventure game of sorts.
fucking love this game
>>335291332
lewd
I'm friends with two other people who played this growing up so at least there's two others.
>>335291386
>tfw that ass
Did anyone else own this game?
>>335291008
I loved the older WWE games. I think I played everything from WWF War Zone all the way up until SVR2011, with the exception of the original XBOX games like RAW, RAW 2 and WrestleMania 21.
I skipped Crush Hour though. Was it any good?
>>335291119
Something like Cory tries to make money selling bobbleheads outside of the White House, a crazy scientist modifies them to try and brainwash the world.
It's an adventure/stealth game.
>>335279043
I vividly remember watching X-play tear this game apart when I was younger.
And now I remember that X-play was a thing.
>>335291553
OG Xbox had some strange games.
>>335273107
My CD broke
>>335291502
my penis buy this game, no regrets
Probably not too obscure by /v/ standards, but I certainly don't know anyone who's heard of it.
>>335284116
Had it. Never beat it.
Thought the difficulty curve skyrocketed after the second mission or so.
>>335278778
I bought this for the good kind of lesbians. Bothell games were chill
I played this once, and i don't remember anything about it though
>>335270628
Seriously, noone ever gets this one.
>>335283752
There was so much hype behind this game for reasons I can't remember. It really was one of the worst
THE SILVER CASE IS GETTING A FUCKING PC REMAKE, NOW I WILL FINALLY BE ABLE TO PLAY IT BASED SUDA51
>>335270628
I win
>>335286862
We aren't allowed to because the fgc hates it because it's too different
>>335277762
Not obscure at all. Alright game tho.
>>335287406
Always wanted to play this
>>335291087
YO. NO JOKE, I WAS ABOUT TO MAKE A THREAD FOR THIS GAME BECAUSE ONE OF THE SONGS POPPED UP ON MY PLAYLIST.
HOLY SHIT.
I FUCKING LOVE THIS GAME. Wiler is the best, followed by Robonohana. hayato has best theme song.
>>335284279
fuck YES, this game rocked.
>>335290741
I had this
>>335290479
Holy shit dude, me and my dad played this too when I was younger.
>>335290202
Nightfire multiplayer was great
>afterschool with friends house playing Nightfire
>we had to borrow multitap from some friends' friend because who the fuck actually had it
>potato chips and greasy controllers
>>335292045
ROFL this game was shit and so was the music
>>335287359
Not bad for onrails
>>335292293
Fuck you, you little faggot.
Game plays extremely fun for a singleplayer fighting/rpg game. Music was also really good, I don't know what you're talking about.
>>335286862
Haha, I remember these games. They made me really mad as a kid. I found that if you just run around the stage you can get behind your opponent and kill them pretty quick
Originally called Space Station Silicon Valley on N64
>>335292424
Neither do I, literally never heard of the game. Just wanted to get you rustled
>>335292673
kek
Resident Evil 2 for the Tiger Game.com
>>335286768
Dude I do netplay with this game, we have a bunch of friends playing the PC version of this. Soundtrack's amazing too.
>>335292394
Holy shit, I had this.
>>335273391
>those kung fu moves
>jetpacks
Is that really what the book is about?
>>335276645
is this nigga rocking cornrows
>game was PAL only, had to patch it to make it playable on North American PS2
>>335284116
pretty decent game, liked the destructible environments
>>335293034
Looks shitty.
>>335293149
it was
>>335293034
I play this in pc.
shit gamefapped a couple of times
this was fucking great
>>335293034
objectively it's crap, yet I couldn't help but enjoy its simplistic gameplay formula
>>335286768
I had the PC version, called Rayman M
It was a lot of fun with friends, I played it for hours
I also had this weird Rayman spinoff game.
>>335293210
I tried to get every even remotely smutty obscure game on PS2. patched uncensored Leisure Suit Larry, some Jap game with rapey overtones, etc. they were all shit games, but I pride myself on playing them all
>>335286584
Two sex scenes in one game.
Only seen it mentioned on /v/ like once years ago
Nothing special but its a nice game
GOTY 10/10 Forever.
>>335293520
Rapelay?
>>335293610
I have it. It was pretty good
>>335292394
What the fuck? I had this for Amiga 500 and DOS
>>335276645
Not the only one bruv
I was sort of sad that it was left on a clfifhanger
>>335293749
It's essentially been re-released on everything ever. PS1, DS, Snes, Megadrive, PC, 360 Arcade...
>>335270628
>>335293834
>>335276645
Planned trilogy, didn't sell enough, canned.
>>335293680
I believe that's on pc only, hue
>>335293867
I guess I can't blame them, it was a great game. But buying it as a stand-alone PS2 game could have been somewhat disappointing. I'll have to try it, there are apparently new/different levels
;_;
it's shit.
>>335288008
Mein neger
>>335270628
Got this at an old local gaming shop next to my dentists office when I was young.
>>335286316
My nigga. I could never finish the final race though, no matter how hard I tried. mabey engine was just too shit.
New York train the best
I know KF isn't that obscure by any means but the only copy I've seen in person was the one I snagged at a local shop.
>>335291087
Just checking in to say I have this too.
>>335273479
Hahahaha, I watched some playthrough of this by some guy named tennings or tennsis something, and I've never seen worse sniping or maybe even voice acting to boot. I mean, wasn't the nigger and the edgy agent guy both voiced by the same white boi, and the final boss is killed in a anticlimactic battle where he runs in a straight line away from you?
>>335293034
An uncle of mine bought me this thinking it was a sims game
>>335295271
Ha!
I wish I still had it, all i have for "unknown games" is Hyrbid heaven or resonance of fate. I got rid of so many of my games...I guess Uncharted waters 1 and 2 is kinda rare for snes.
>>335287848
Yes. If only those fucking russians weren't so goddam spongey...
>>335273391
this game was sick
spent so much time tossing bodies through glass
> TFW still looking for someone to reminisce about this game with
>>335291553
I bought the PS2 version on Amazon out of nostalgia. I played the shit out of the demo as a kid.
It's an OK platformer.
>>335293561
I own it.
I agree - it's a decent enough game, looks nice, but nothing worth mentioning.
>>335295461
I had that on PS2, it was pretty great.
I hated this fucking game when I was 10. But then I got gud and fell in love with it.Fore! is still the best Hot Shots game
Today, I will remind them.
>>335273170
Retarded kid I was I selected that game as my first title for the gamecube. Forever left a bad taste in my mouth. Then I got Rouge Squadron II and learned what real quality was.
>>335295461
I've got gba version it's pretty good. Do all sims spinoffs have stories? Urbs and busting out on gba was my shit.
>>335287008
What the fuck was the deal with this game? It's been years, but i still vividly remember playing this on the demo discussion that also included some hoverboard scating game and a Rayman game?
>>335295715
It was okay. Not too bad, not too good. Probably a 5 or a 6.
>>335295640
Wanna be friends?
Did you also buy back the stuff that Malcolm stole and put them back in the exact spot he took it?
>>335295770
How are those games? It's hard to image those modern Sims games on a handheld.
>>335290518
Basically the only real reason to own a copy of it anymore, which is sad.
Them 1080p 60fps scams.
>>335295971
Always wanted to play this, never got the chance.
>>335287406
VERY underrated. Super violent and lots of swearing. Kinda like if tarantino made a bond movie.
>>335295865
They were amazing I only played those for the longest time then played sims2 and was wondering where the hell story was. There was also a psp sims where you could rent out your house and had to solve this ghost murder so you could actually accept boarders.
