and like I said in my first post, all of these aspects didn't matter, at high level raiding / dungeons / pvp it was always the same, but we had the choice to do something else, even if it was retarded, for example: what was the point as a warrior to train your staff skill? none, but you could do it for fun
you had the choices, even to make bad decisions, this was removed long ago
in the end we have this current system: everyone is the same, all classes use the same skills with just a reskin of it

not to mention the fact that in vanilla spirit was a straight broken stat that they struggled to make relevant at all. even out of combat spirit regen was negligible. the glacial pace of health regen was almost completely unaffected by spirit.

I've found that the game became a lot more fun to me after getting actual good gear.
They really fucked up the item levels in this expansion, and the result is that full mythic geared characters turn in to literal gods. Where 50k dps was okayish in the last patch, 200k is normal in high level now.
This is made a lot more fun when you're healing. I like to join terrible guilds on their Normal progress as the only healer, and because these players are so bad at pressing their movement buttons, it becomes an actual challenge, but because of the extreme gear difference it's actually possible.
I haven't had this much fun playing the game since Wotlk.I need a better font for my healing numbers though
